Lamb Arranges Meeting With Local Authorities To Discuss A149 Accidents

6.58.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 15th Sep 2003

Norman Lamb, Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk, will meet with County and District Councillors, a police officer and an officer from Norfolk County Council this week to discuss the fatal accidents on the A149.

Last week, a motorcyclist died after a collision with a car at Catfield, on the A149.

Norman Lamb said: "The number of accidents that have taken place on this dangerous road cannot be allowed to continue without action being taken. I hope that this meeting will lead to a set of safety proposals for this stretch of the A149."

The meeting will take place on September 19th.
